The sunlight filtered like gold through the Live Oak Trees at Wormsloe Plantation on McKenzie and Chris’s wedding day. They fell in love with the stately drive and knew that they just had to get married with the oaks as a backdrop to their nuptials.
McKenzie wore her favorite necklace Chris had given her with her birthstone and favorite animal, the elephant. Chris’s reaction was priceless when he saw her walking down the aisle on her father’s arm.
After the ceremony, they went to Chris’s favorite spot overlooking the salt marsh for couples portraits and wrapped up with romantic images beneath the Live Oak lined driveway that made them fall in love with the Plantation to begin with. We absolutely loved this Wormsloe Plantation Elopement and look forward to more beautiful and intimate weddings just like it as well as engagement sessions just like this.
