Crane Cottage

The weekend before Hallie and Cameron’s wedding I was at Crane Cottage capturing headshots for a fellow wedding planner. Immediately, I fell in love with the wedding venue. It’s charming Italianate architecture and beautiful fireplaces make one want to curl up with a good book and a cup of cocoa.

Crane Cottage was built in 1919. Crane Cottage was one of the most expensive homes constructed on Jekyll Island during that time. With enclosed courtyards, it is easy to see why it was later turned into a bed and breakfast and wedding venue.

Fall Wedding at Crane Cottage

Hallie and Cameron’s fall wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. With perfect blue sky’s and a slight breeze, everyone gathered in the sunken garden for the ceremony that was highlighted by the most darling ring-bearer and flower girl toddling down the aisle together.

Cocktail Hour

The cocktail hour was held on the front lawn as guest’s signed a record player that doubled as a guest book. As they entered the reception they were greeted with a painting created earlier that day during the ceremony. Hallie and Cameron danced the night away under the twinkling lights. It was a joy capturing their wedding and an honor working with John Hillin to capture all the details of their special day.
