Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
Zach and Jenny were married on Friday in the historic Wren Chapel. It was a lovely intimate ceremony with a focus on their sweet family being there. Jenny looked like she stepped right out of the silver screen with her simple, yet elegant wedding dress. As we planned for portrait locations on the wedding day, Zach and Jenny talked about the family members that had attended William and Mary and her grandparents who had also been married there. As a nod to that idea of heritage, we chose special buildings around campus for portrait locations, including Zach’s freshman dorm.
In keeping with the intimate feel of the day, Jenny and Zach’s reception was the perfect family centric affair. With photos of dear loved ones gracing the room and flowers artfully created by the grooms grandmother, the room was filled with joyful laughter and stories from weddings past. I especially enjoyed the story of the Steckroth wedding cake from centuries past when as a wedding gift, the brides friends had all donated sugar in order for her to have a wedding cake, truly a cake baked with love, just as Jenny’s sister had created her wedding cake with the perfect white buttercream frosting.
Congratulations to you both sweet Jenny and Zach. “May your hands be forever clasped in friendship and your hearts joined forever in love.”
