The Heart Drives Us

It is often said that you have to have a good head for business but I believe that there has to be some heart in there as well.  Often times I find that it is the heart that drives us more passionately than our heads.  It takes leaps and bounds where our rational brains say no, hold back just a little.  I want my business to be driven by the heart, a heart that desires to love and serve every single person that steps in front of my camera.  That they leave having their story told in such a way that they feel at their most beautiful and true self.

For me, portraits in our home aren’t just about decoration.  For anyone who’s loved one has gone out on patrol, been on call, or deployed, you know how precious those visual reminders are.  They are rays of sunshine that warm your heart as you go about your day-to-day life.  I believe that every marriage deserves to have that anchor to hold them to day one, but life doesn’t just sit still.  Life moves forward and families grow.  For me and the heart of my business, it starts with that one portrait on your wedding day but doesn’t just stop there.  I want to capture your anniversaries that celebrate what happened on day one, year after year.
