Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
I first met Jenn and Mark face to face for their engagement session when they made a birthday trip down from D.C. We chatted about camping, Mark’s love of hot air balloons, and the sad note in their summer that sweet Geoffrey, their puppy had gone missing. It was with great joy that Jenn told me a few weeks later that he had been returned to them and it was the perfect start to the final days before their wedding at Wren Chapel. I was thrilled that they included him in part of their first look before their ceremony on campus.
Both Mark and Jenn attended William and Mary and were members of the rowing team there. Surrounded by family and friends flying in as far as Germany and Canada, there were truly loved on and celebrated. Jenn walked down the aisle in the most perfect peacock teal suede shoes from Toms and wore heirloom jewels taken from both sides of the family and reworked into a stunning necklace and earrings.
While Jenn and Mark hadn’t originally intended to have their wedding occur on a college game day, it was rather perfect to have the game kick off just minutes after their first look at Crim Dell bridge. As they headed back toward the Chapel for their ceremony, they reminisced with the bridal party about past classes, games, and adventures they had had. Following the ceremony, they headed to the Williamsburg Community Center for their reception. A venue where they had shared their first dance together several years earlier at a Greek Formal and where they would now dance again, for the first time as husband and wife.
