Fall Winery Wedding in Blush

Sophie and Paul’s fall wedding was the picture of classic elegance.  While the girls got ready in the newly finished bridal suite at the Williamsburg Winery, the groom and his friends relaxed and watched a bit of football.  As the bridal party watched, they had their first look among the winery’s grape vines filled with laughter and kisses.  With a beautiful blush and burgundy bouquet in hand Sophie headed of to her ceremony with a unique twist on their own version of the unity candle.  Small bottles of pepper, vinegar, and honey were consumed to represent all that they would face through life together.

Dancing the Night Away

Following the ceremony, Paul and Sophie took time to take a sunset walk among the vineyard and savor being newly married, one of our most favorite times of a wedding day.  They finished the evening with what has to be one of my all time favorite play lists for a reception and romantic portraits in the wine cellar beneath Wessex Hall.
