Alternative Bouquet Choices for Bridesmaids

Bouquets and floral designs often elevate simple weddings to elegant affairs and have the ability to transport you mentally into a fairytale.  They set the stage for the day and perfume the reception.  However, I often have brides ask me how they can still give their bridesmaids something beautiful to carry or wear while being budget conscious and unique.  I promise it isn’t the quest for the holy grail.  Unique bridesmaid floral design is available.

Flowers as Accessories

Rather than have your bridesmaids carry a bouquet down the aisle, consider having your floral designer weave some orchids to a long necklace to create pops of color to accent their dresses.  We love the unique play of colors created by Palette of Petals as the orange compliments the powder blue of this bridesmaids dress.  If you are looking for something a bit more subdued, consider a floral cuff like the one worn for a recent September wedding with a mix of freesias and sunflowers in a neutral tones.

A Twist on Tradition
