A Floral Design Workshop

A Workshop at the Historic Post Office

The Historic Post Office was the perfect location to host a modern, elegant floral design workshop.  With it’s clean lines, large windows, and whitewashed brick it created a peaceful and harmonious environment for the event.  Put on by Aleen Floral Design as a precursor to her new website launching, it was full of laughter and learning.  Even though I wasn’t designing a centerpiece myself, I still found myself learning quiet a bit from Karen, the design studios owner.  Here’s hoping this is the first of many workshops to come.

Turning Over a New Leaf

I have known Karen since we moved to Virginia and it is always a joy to watch her design.  Something that I fail miserably at, she does so effortlessly!  Karen’s business is now reached it’s tenth anniversary and she felt it was high time to give her website an update.  Make sure you don’t miss the new and very elegant look of Aleen Floral Design.  I especially love the use of leaf for her logo.
