Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
As a new bride, finding a recipe or meals made just for two was difficult. Even when I did find a recipe that didn’t leave us fighting through leftovers for days, it would often end up not tasting as good as I had hoped for or would break the bank with the amount of ingredients it required. Starting out, we had student loans we were still paying off and we were living pay check to pay check. Sometimes this meant a $5 pizza was all we could afford. One can only live off of cheap pizza for so long before you look for alternatives.
One of the simplest things we found was to implement our grill. Grab a portion, marinate it and then slice up some vegetables. Once that was done, throw it all on the grill for a very quick meal after work. On the weekends we spent more time in the kitchen, something we still eleven years later do together, with the addition of our two little sous chefs. Finding recipes for two has come a long way and now there are so many options. Here are a few I recommend:
The last one is one of our favorites and allows you to pick a meal for two or four servings. We use Blue Apron frequently during wedding season to make sure we are still cooking great meals with less work. Happy Cooking.
