We often get asked what we carry in our bags on a wedding day and while the gear is important to our craft, there is a bag that we carry that is even more important because it’s for you, our bride.  That bag is our Wedding Day Essentials Bag of items that is filled with everything from Advil to crochet hooks.  Want to know more about what we carry and why?

What’s in Our Bag

Probably the oddest thing we have in our bag is a crochet hook but that little tool is a life saver for dresses with tiny buttons and loops as well as when it comes time to bustle a wedding dress at lightning speed.  Next up we have a Tide Pen for cleaning up spills on dresses before portrait time.  Less exciting items include:

These may sound like pedantic things to write about or even read but I can’t tell you how many times hair has fallen down, stains have occurred, or a headache has popped up to mess with what should be a stress free wedding day.  I believe that your wedding day should be focused on the event and not searching for a safety pin to hold your dress in place.  I believe that I am more than just your wedding photographer, I am there to serve our brides in a way that sets a sense of calm and alleviates stress.
