Hotel Domestique is situated just north of Greenville, SC in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. Recently named one of the best small towns to visit or live in, Travelers Rest is a true delight. When we began to plan Sierra and Michael’s engagement session, this South Carolina hotel was top on my list.

Travelers Rest

As dog lovers, I knew they wanted a space where they could include their sweet Boykin Spaniels but also something that mirrored Sierra’s killer style. Inspired by the French cyclist, George Hincapie, Hotel Domestique has an intimate European feel with modern touches on the interior. The hotel is a favorite of cyclists due not only to its founder but its close location to the Swamp Rabbit Trail nearby.

College Sweethearts

Michael and Sierra met while in college at Georgia Southern. They love to travel and in fact, Michael proposed to Sierra while on vacation in Rosemary Beach. We had such a great time getting to know them both a little better and of course, getting to play with their darling dogs, Stella and Flint. We can’t wait for their April wedding in Savannah complete, I am sure with a classic car getaway since Michael is a big classic car fan.
