This past Saturday a group of almost complete strangers came together for one purpose, to shift our mindset as entrepreneurs and help create a community focused on helping each other collectively solve issues that often plague small business owners and creatives.  I am so very proud of these amazing ladies who took the leap and spent the morning with me at Nathaniel’s Unique Events.  Pam the owner graciously provided us a lovely space to meet and collaborate.  If you are a creative, this space is just a glorious retreat during the winter to shoot in or hold meetings.

During our first Creative Mindset group I shared how a recent business conference had changed my perspective on doing business and how I hoped it would help them as well.  We spent the morning helping each other solve weak areas in our businesses.  I can’t wait to meet up again in March to continue the process as we focus on growing each others businesses.

Jacki emailed me about attending and I am so glad she did. She is the owner of Pancakes and Glue Guns, a business devoted to beautiful handcrafted paper flowers.   You simply have to check out her flower wall that she made for her wedding.

Nicole is the owner of Stag and Lily, a wedding and social events planner in Richmond, Virginia.  She has elegant and modern taste to help you plan your wedding day or special event.

Ashlyn is the makeup artist behind Transformations Artistry and we are all looking forward to her hosting a makeup class soon!  Don’t you just love her personal style!

Tina is the artistic eye behind Tina Take My Photo.  I learned this morning that this multitalented gal has also won an award at the Cannes Film Festival for her groups 48 Hour Film Project.

We also had Pam who is the owner of Nathaniel’s Unique Events at our meeting and she divulged to us that once upon a time she sang in Nashville.  Karen, of Aleen Floral Design was also there and I can’t wait for her to share her meal planning tips and decorating ideas with us.  Who knew all these creative boss ladies had hidden talents!
