University Sweethearts Wedding

Threats of rain couldn’t dampen the joy of these two Auburn University Sweethearts as they celebrated their wedding earlier this month. Margaret and Parker grew up together with their families living right down the road from each other. They have known each other since Kindergarten and continued to spend family vacations together but never dated until college, where Parker played hockey for Auburn. Getting Ready

As Margaret got ready at her home church of St. Mark the Evangelist, Parker spent time with his family and some fellow hockey team mates before the ceremony began. As Parker’s mom pinned his boutonniere, the tears began to flow. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids were giddy as they did a first look with Margaret at the church.

Ceremony

Parker first saw Margaret that day as she walked down the aisle on her daddy’s arm and they both became overwhelmed at the site of each other. Married by Father Joe who had watched them grow up together just brought everything full circle.

Following the ceremony, the bridal party headed to Inverness Country club for a music filled reception curtesy of Nation Wide Coverage, something that both Margaret and Parker had been looking forward to as they both love to dance.

Sweet Reception

Upon entering the reception we were greeted with a beautiful display of handmade sweets by Parker’s neighbor Ms. Linda. All the guests had been excitedly waiting to sample all the treats she had made. . . and they didn’t disappoint.

After literally breaking down the dance floor, Margaret and Parker exited Inverness to chants of War Eagle and Auburn Shakers everywhere. Hopping into a Mercedes Oppenheimer, they kissed amid cheers from their friends and family. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Brown!
