New Years Eve Wedding

When we first saw Maggie’s dress at her Nearly Wed Session, we knew her wedding was going to be breath taking with it’s Gatsby style vibes for New Years Eve. While she and Bruce had already had a first look back in May, they decided that they still wanted an additional one on their wedding day outside of the Tutwiler Hotel. As Maggie walked down the steps of the hotel we could see Bruce visibly shift and as he turned around, the tears and emotions for both of them came forward.

Trolly to a Candlelit Ceremony

After an emotional first look Maggie, Bruce, and their bridal party braved the chill for group portraits before hopping on a Trolly for some portraits around town including some cute murals. Arriving early at the Bridgestreet Gallery for a candle lit ceremony, emotions flowed again as they said “I Do”.

Epic Reception

Bruce and Maggie’s wedding reception was full of fun and laughter. Having brought in DJ PaPa Rooster from Atlanta, the music was of course fantastic and his sweet dog in a tux was just the cherry on top. As the count down to midnight got closer, everyone headed downstairs for a balloon drop followed by a joy filled sparkler exit before all the guests headed to a fun after party to ring in the new year. Congrats to Maggie and Bruce, it was an honor capturing your wedding day. We loved being able to document all the parts of your journey from your engagement session, pre-wedding shoot, and of course your big day.
