Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
I have been looking forward to Jeff and Amanda’s Old Town Alexandria wedding for almost a year. As a military spouse it is especially exciting to me to welcome another woman into the sisterhood of spouses. Their wedding was full of beautiful details, romance, and a bit of whimsy.
When Amanda handed me her details for the wedding day, I couldn’t go without asking the meaning behind the brick and I am so glad that I did. As a college student, she had saved a brick from her college dorm and Jeff helped continue the tradition by snagging a brick from the courthouse where they picked up their marriage license. Over time they hope to collect bricks as they travel around the world and build a legacy together.
Amanda was such a beautiful bride that just as Jeff saw her, the heavens began to cry as rain gently fell from the sky. First looks are always one of my favorite intimate moments of the day. Aren’t they just perfect!
Jeff and Amanda have known each other since high school and he gave her one of his first set of dog tags with an inscription “For My Blondie”
Congratulations Jeff and Amanda. May your journey together be a sweet symphony!
