A Joy-filled Westin Wedding

Weddings have a way of reminding us that even when things don’t go exactly as planned, joy has the power to shine through, with this Joy-filled Westin Wedding. Lindsey and Justin’s wedding day was the perfect example of this.

A Rainy Start, A Radiant Finish

The day began with rain showers rolling across Hilton Head Island. While many couples might have been disheartened, Lindsey and Justin chose joy at every turn. Surrounded by their family and friends who had traveled from near and far, the rain simply became part of their story. And then, as if on cue, the skies cleared just in time for one of the most magical moments of the day—their couples portraits on the beach. With a cool breeze and storm clouds in the distance, the two shared intimate moments framed by the vast ocean and sea grass.

A Sweet Surprise

One of the most delightful details of the reception was the wedding cake—though Lindsey herself didn’t see it until the party began. Justin had secretly helped design both the look and the flavors, making it a true labor of love. Music, Memories, and Family

Family was woven into the fabric of the day in so many meaningful ways. Lindsey’s aunt Aimee Mayo and uncle Chris Lindsey, both talented songwriters, gifted the couple with a live performance of “Amazed,” a song they had written together years before for Lonestar . The heartfelt serenade created a moment no one in the room will soon forget.

A Magical Ending

As the evening drew to a close, the skies remained clear and the celebration ended with a sparkly sendoff.
