In May I had a phone call that was the starting point for some big things that are coming in September.  You may have noticed small changes happening around the blog and other social media platforms that are beginning to reflect that.  Some of these things have been quietly resting on my heart for awhile, waiting for a God appointed time to blossom while others feel like fireworks zooming and zipping around.

This past Monday I met with Katelyn of Katelyn James Photography.  I first learned of her through Pinterest of all places.  I was redoing my office and looking for inspiration when I came across a pin of a beautiful office with teal walls!  I have a bit of a teal obsession that you can read about here.  I not only loved her southern style of decorating but what she stands for.  When I learned that she had a few coaching sessions left this summer, I jumped at the chance.

She is warm, hospitable, and super savvy when it comes to running a business.  She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera when ya’ll know I would rather be behind it at all cost. Of all the silly things I worried about, headshots was at the top of my list!  She even made my goofy face look cute!

While, I can’t share everything we talked about just yet, just know that September 21st is going to be big but September 25th is going to be EPIC!  Thank you Katelyn for all you do!  Now as the Black Eyed Peas say, “Let’s Get It Started”!
