Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
I have a serious addiction to books. I struggle to pass by a bookstore, especially ones that also have coffee, and not go in. I know everyone has pretty much gone the way of digital when it comes to books and audio. My husband even convinced me to buy a Kindle for practical reasons due to our very limited living space and frequent moves. I still love REAL books though. The ones that have pages just a little yellow with age and a slight crease on the corner because I could never find a bookmark when I was little.
When I turned 18 my parents took me to the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. The trip was amazing and beautiful but what I remember most was the library at the Biltmore. It was luscious and opulent and full of floor to ceiling books.
Over the last couple of years my kids have grown to love books as well and often beg to go to Barnes and Noble just to sit on the floor with a pile of books around them and read. I love sharing that passion for literature with them and I can’t wait to introduce them to my favorites as they grow up . .
What were some of your favorite books growing up? Share them, I would love to add them to my reading list. For more of this series on Mondays with Meredith check out the original post here.
