As a coffee addict drinker, there are few things that will make me give that up. It is how I start my 5 am routine. Nothing, and I mean nothing happens before that. However on cold December days my London Fog recipe is just perfect enough to forgo my normal cup of joe. It is total comfort in a cup when it is snowing outside at Christmas.
There are several ways to make a London Fog but I find it is quickest with my essential oils. You can use lavender infused simple syrup or scented sugar but when I am in a hurry, this works best.
Ingredients:
- Lavender Essential Oil
- 8 oz Earl Grey Tea Brewed
- Toothpick
- Whipped Honey
- Whole Milk
- Frother
Take a toothpick and dip it in the essential oil and place the toothpick in the hot tea (a whole drop of it is to potent for one drink). Place about 5 oz of whole milk in a frother and steam like you would for a cappuccino. Let the toothpick set for about two minutes and take it out. Add a small dollop of honey to taste and pour the frothed milk over the top. Enjoy!
