A Railroad Park Engagement

I loved getting to spend the afternoon with Brittany and Ben earlier this month at Railroad Park for a beautiful fall engagement session.  The leaves were just beginning to change colors and it perfectly highlighted Brittany’s cute choice in outfits.  Ben kept us laughing the whole time with his sharp wit and certainly has a knack for making Brittany giggle in the most adorable way.  I loved hearing about their time at Troy and their plans for the future as Ben is moving to Birmingham this month after a long time working in another state.

Troy University Sweethearts

Brittany and Ben met while in college at Troy University and dated through college.  After graduation Ben moved to Florida for work and they dated long distance.  Ben would often fly into Birmingham when he had time off to see Brittany and it was on one such occasion in October that he proposed.  With family in the know, Brittany went to meet Ben at the airport and once outside, he got down on one knee and proposed.  For the proposal Ben had a beautiful bible engraved with her future married name on it.  Afterwards, all the family headed to a party to celebrate.  Congrats to Brittany and Ben on your engagement.  I can’t wait to capture your beautiful wedding this summer at Douglas Manor.
