Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
This past Sunday, I hosted our first Virginia based photography workshop that was inspired by the flavors and colors of the southwest. Even the rain couldn’t keep us down after seeing the bright and sunny blooms from Aleen Floral Design. Their warm hues mixed with the texture of the airplants just lifted everyones spirits.
We had originally intended to hold the shoot itself in the Williamsburg Botanical Garden but due to the crazy amount of rain we have been getting lately in the area, we moved it indoors for a smaller setting at the Interpretive Center in Freedom Park. The rough stone accents of the room really lent an added element to the shoot and gave everyone a real life experience of how to handle rain on a wedding day.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Kelly, Lindsay, and Ola throughout the day. These ladies are in various stages of their businesses and are wanting to grow their businesses. I am always amazed at how hard small business owners work while balancing a full time job, kids, and in some cases single parenting. These women were a joy to get to know and I can’t wait to see the beautiful images they produce!
