Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
Last weekend we had our second meeting of the Creative Mindset group with a focus on making images for social media. One of the biggest struggles non-photography vendors have is creating images to use on their blogs and social media while waiting to get them back from the photographers they work with.
These women amaze me with their drive and passion for what they do and the brides that they serve. It is always a joy to be around them and be a part of a group that has a deep desire to help others. This months meeting was held in the home office of Aleen Floral Design. It was no surprise to see that it was just as lovely a space as the floral bouquets that Karen creates.
The four of us discussed how to create images that allow us to talk about the soul of our business and what we stand for while letting brides see a little peek into our daily lives. The ladies also practiced creating and cropping vignettes with a purpose as seen in the behind the scenes image above on the left and final image on the right. For Karen the Noonday Collection is a company with a purpose and she loves these bracelets that when purchased give back to women in third world countries.
Nicole of Stag and Lily recently attended a calligraphy class to better help her brides as they work together to plan weddings. I love this vignette that she created to use on her own social media.
Ashlyn is an amazing makeup artist with great advice on her blog. I loved what she created with some tulips and pencils. Check out more of her work at Transformations Artistry
I can’t wait to see what these lovely ladies dream up in the next few months. With big hearts, big goals, and big dreams . . watch out world.
