Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects our team has been honored to document over the past 15 years.
Wedding trends continue to evolve, with fresh ideas and timeless traditions blending seamlessly. From enchanting venues to personalized touches, this year promises to focus on trends draw from multiple sources of inspiration. We covered many of the trends you will see in weddings in an interview with Sarah Bradshaw.
White Lotus showcased luxurious and exotic destinations in both of its previous TV seasons. Season 3 is set in Southeast Asia with all of its beautiful beaches. This will heavily influence destination choices for wedding couples over the next few years. These weddings often double as memorable vacations. Whether it’s a serene beachside affair or a secluded mountain retreat, the emphasis is on creating an immersive experience for guests. Expect to see more weddings in locations like Bali or Thailand.
It feels strange to say that the 90’s are now considered vintage, but they are. Couples are selecting slipdresses for their bridesmaids that are a throwback to the fashion of that decade. The idea of incorporating nostalgic or vintage touches is not stuck to that decade alone. We are seeing the use of heirlooms in unique ways to add meaning on the wedding day.
Inspired by Sophia Richie’s Wedding, this trend is about appreciating the finer things in life with a sense of restraint and discernment. This trend has found its place in weddings as couples increasingly opt for a more personal and meaningful celebration over a show of wealth or status. It’s not about how much you spend but rather how well you curate each element to reflect your style and values.
While this trend has been around for a bit, blending the intimacy of home with the elegance of a curated event. This approach embraces customized décor, thoughtful landscaping, and seamless indoor-outdoor integration, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. Look to planners like Gregory Blake Sams, Augusta Cole, and Calder Clark for elegance blended with residential-inspired design.
Whenever the topic of wedding trends comes up, inevitably, it will lead to the question of how vital trends are. The reality is that there is no one set answer. My opinion, and one held by many wedding professionals, is that as a couple, you should be trend-aware but not chase after each one that pops up. Ask yourself if you are simply doing it because everyone else is or because you both love the idea of incorporating a trend into your wedding day to help tell the story of who you are.
