Wedding by the Sea

Kassie and Tyler were married by the sea in Yorktown last week.  The weather, despite the summer showers cooperated beautifully, creating a stunning sunset perfect for romantic portraits of these high school sweethearts.

A Decoder Bracelet

The morning of the wedding, Kassie sent the same decoder bracelet that Tyler used to ask her to prom back in high school with a letter for their wedding day.  As his groomsmen finished getting ready, he set to decoding her letter before their first look.  He continued to wear this sweet reminder of their history throughout the day.

Celebrating History

Kassie lovingly included wedding dresses and a brooch from family members by wrapping her bridal bouquet in the lace and securing it with a flowering pin.  Another sweet moment was the anniversary dance that honored her grandparents who have been married 59 years and still were dancing the night away like newly weds.

A Nautical Send Off

At the end of the evening, Kassie and Tyler left their reception in a sea of bubbles as they made their way onto a boat waiting at the Yorktown Dock to take them away as their friends and family cheered them on.
