Lakefront Bridal Portrait

She’s MARRIED!  I can finally share sweet Sara’s bridal portrait session at the lake from last month.  When we started to plan her portraits, the one thing she was adamant about was having the lake as a backdrop for them.  Both Sara and Sean are avid water skiers and run a local club dedicated to the sport.  We headed out to a lakefront estate for her session.

With its classic lines and modern back, her dress was absolutely gorgeous and reminded me of something that would have graced the likes of Audrey Hepburn!  I loved the addition of her cathedral style veil handmade by her mother and edged with lace from her own wedding dress.

The other thing that was incredibly important to Sara was the ability to have her dog Maverick with her for some of her images in her dress.  He was so well behaved and I just loved his curly hair.  We often get asked if we allow couples to bring their dogs for portrait sessions and our answer is always ABSOLUTELY. . . as fellow dog lovers we love the ability to not only capture the love our couples have for each other but also for their fur babies.  Congrats again to Sara and Sean on their recent wedding at SouthWind Plantation.
