Here you will find some of the celebrations, special occasions, and projects we have been honored to document over the past eleven years.
It is no secret that I love attending conferences. It is the best way to meet fellow wedding pros who can turn into friends! While attending Catersource, I met Jennifer Hardieman, Chief Event Officer and Owner of Fabuluxe Events based in Palm Beach.
We worked together, and I captured the behind-the-scenes of a wedding day at The Breakers Palm Beach with her team. Watching wedding planners juggle logistics and the beautiful details that go into a wedding day amazes me. I wanted to interview Jennifer to learn more about her and her business, so keep reading to learn more about her.
I have a corporate background, so I think that helps me run my business. Fabuluxe Events is definitely a team effort. And I am blessed to have had my team members stay with me for many years. I have seen them grow as people and go through major life milestones. It wouldn’t be the same without the girls. I think that is reflected in how we handle wedding days. We are a unit.
Our planning style is a bit of fun, sprinkled in with respect for the day and the process. We are in the luxury world, but we don’t take life so seriously that we can’t have fun.
Wedding planning is stressful for our couples. So, if we can help alleviate that stress by being detailed, organized, and always smiling, that’s our goal. We say we work with urban couples who want a touch of sunshine and fun for their wedding experience.
I think my favorite part of the wedding day is when the couple first sees each other. There is so much build-up and anticipation. You can tell that there are some nerves. But as soon as they see each other, their shoulders drop a little. They are with their person.
It’s like they are ready to take on life together at that moment. Whether it’s in a first look or at the ceremony, there is just something amazing about the emotions on their faces the first time they see each other.
Honestly, the service level at The Breakers is just beyond. I know that my couples’ will always be treated like royalty. And it doesn’t matter if there are other events happening; each couple is treated like the only couple on site that day. The catering team is so easy to work with and is fun to be around. The staff dedicated to the couple during the day is amazing. It’s an experience like no other.
My favorite part of planning this wedding was just getting to know the couple. They have experienced life in such different ways than me. It was fabulous getting to hear their perspectives on marriage and the experiences that they have shared together. They are people that I would want to be friends with after the wedding. We are working on a time to get together for drinks!
I think that people have to remember that wedding planning is not always hearts, rainbows, and flowers. There will be times when it gets stressful, but we are here to help guide our couples through those moments.
It’s a life-changing day, but don’t forget to nurture the relationship along the way. The couple takes the lead and sets the tone for the whole wedding experience. If they are having fun and enjoying the moments and details, so will everyone else.
It was such a pleasure meeting Jennifer and photographing her and her team doing what they do best, creating one-of-a-kind stunning weddings. Thank you so much, Jennifer, for allowing me to interview. You can learn more about Fabuluxe over on their website.
