A Rosemont Manor Wedding

From the moment we turned into the drive of Rosemont Manor, we knew Stephanie and Robert’s fall wedding was going to be perfectly amazing.  The sun filtered down through the warm orange and red leaves of the trees as the road curved up to a stately white historic home.  From cute monogrammed guest bags to an heirloom portrait of Stephanie’s grandmother, each detail was carefully planned.

Stephanie chose the elegant staircase as the location for her and Robert’s first look.  Tears and laughter flowed before she floated down the staircase to see Robert.  They wrapped up in each others arms before twirling around to let Robert get a full view of her wedding dress complete with her great grandmothers pearls.  Afterwards, they had a ceremony on the front lawn of the manor house.

A Unique Twist on a Unity Candle

I have seen some very creative twists on the unity candle concept during a ceremony but I have to say that Stephanie and Roberts was the most inventive and probably my favorite so far.  They chose to create a sourdough starter, as they are both big foodies and wanted something to represent that.  As their loves grows and matures, so will their sourdough starter, acting as a daily reminder of their commitment to each other.

Dancing to Pink Martini

Leading up to their wedding, Robert and Stephanie took dance lessons to prepare for their first dance and they floated around the floor to the song Amando Mio by Pink Martini.  Afterwards they shared yummy French Macarons instead of traditional wedding cake and enjoyed visiting with college friends and family from all over the East Coast.  Congratulations Stephanie and Robert, may your love continue to grow just as your sourdough starter.
