Welcome.  I am a southern gal with a whimsical and romantic heart traveling all over the globe with my sweet husband.  Currently we call Virginia home and have fallen in love with their crisp romantic fall weather and history laden towns.  I am originally from Atlanta and I make a mean sweet tea but think it tastes best when mixed with lemonade.  I love wrap around whimsical porches and think only the best ones are painted Haint blue.  I swear it is a real thing.

I like the beach but love an early foggy morning in the mountains with a giant cup of coffee and a snuggle with my two kids.  I am a momma of two busy little ones who are as addicted to books as their dad and I are.  There is my silly two year old, we call her Bitsy and she thinks she rules the world.  She will dance to any and all music when it plays and eats avocado like it is going out of style.  My oldest is Mr. Serious.  We call him Ninja Warrior and he dreams of getting to Mount Midoriyama one day.  He takes after my husband with a love of all things science and can name every dinosaur around.

My husband and I are college sweethearts.  I have known him almost half my life and he is truly my rock, my confidant, my best friend.  He is the yin to my yang, I am totally an artistic dreamer and he is very much a scientist and history buff with a romantic side.
