End of the Year Blahs
Do you ever get to the end of the year and just feel really blah about your business? November is often crunch time for small business owners and balancing the demands of the holiday season with running a creative endeavor all while balancing family life may seem like an impossibility. I often felt like that but by January, I was ready to tackle the New Year with renewed energy and new resolutions that never quite got done. What I needed was a reset!
How did the Reset Workshop come about?
Two months ago, I jokingly told a friend of mine that I just wanted a retreat, a day where fellow creatives could gather together and hit the reset button on our businesses. We both felt the need for a community atmosphere where we could connect with others, learn from each other, and prepare for the upcoming year.
What is the Reset Workshop?
The Reset Workshop is a full eight hour day filled with speakers and small group break out sessions intended to not only help you solve the struggles you dealt with in 2016 but to also prepare you to face 2017 with renewed energy and a network of creatives supporting each other. THIS WORKSHOP IS NOT JUST FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS but for any small business owner wanting to grow their business, get back more time, and better serve their clients in 2017. Some of the key things we will go over include:
- The Creative Mindset and how it can grow your business
- Taking Back Your Time – Getting back hours in your day
- Social Media Marketing
- Blogging with the Ideal Client in Mind
- Fixing the problems of 2016 and turning them into strengths
- Vendor Networking and Marketing Plans for 2017 that work
The Reset Workshop is being hosted by the Historic Post Office on January 23, 2017. Tickets will go on sale from November 9th – December 14th. Space is limited to 15 and tickets are $75. To purchase tickets, contact Leslie at the Historic Post Office at 757-726-2760 ext 240. For all other questions contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can’t wait to hit the Reset Button with you!
